This is the university work I’ve produced for the past four months. The next time I see it will be in my final assessment of my degree. Yea. That’s that.
My name is Daisy Hillyard.
And I need to get my creativity on in a big way.
Hopefully this blog will help get me motivated.
I'll probably try sticking inspiration and stuff on here too.
Depends on how it goes.

CAT PATTERN. Think that’s patterns down now, I said I’d do at least 10, and I’ve got 10 that I’m happy are finals, I’ve got about 14 overall.
Tried making a version of my comic in a mini format. I quite like it, although I’m not sure how many people would want a pocket sized sadness generator in their pockets… (new followers, yea, i draw lots of dumb but happy animals, but some of my work has depth that isn’t so happy go lucky!)
Otters. Not so sure about the spacing on this one, but I’m going to see how I get on with the other three patterns I’ve got lined up.
Note: if you want to use my patterns for whatever, please ask me. I’ll probably supply you with smoother versions as long as you give credit. Ok ta. You can use them as is, but they’re cropped so the edges don’t match without some editing and I’d really prefer to know where they’re being used.
(i’m still putting off finishing my bat comic haha oops)
A better version of the deer pattern. Think the blue is better and spacing is nicer.
Been a little while since I’d drawn dancing skeletons, and my tutor advised me to put more in my portfolio, so here they are. Jiving.
Repeat pattern wrapping paper, because I didn’t have enough confidence to get any of the patterns printed to fabric and I didn’t think the fabric would get here in time if I’d been brave enough to order some. But paper works.
Flamingo! (Mainly chosen as I want to run my magenta and yellow ink cartridges down before taking them out of the printer.) Looking a little bit fruit salady. Also trying to limit colours a bit.
Well damn tumblr. You guys like deer. I don’t know if I’ve ever received 100 notes on anything, and that deer pattern smashed through to 170 and ahhh. NOW CORGIS. And that’s me done for jubilee stuff now probably.
Lots of fallow deer. Not 100% sure on the dark markings on the legs, as the deer don’t generally have them, buut let’s pretend these deer have been trotting through mud. ok.
